How to make donuts? Doughnuts are the most traditional confectionery product we can encounter on a daily basis. They are perfect both with coffee and for a sweet treat.
Doughnuts go down in large quantities, especially when Fat Thursday is approaching. However, if you don’t like buying doughnuts, you can always try making them yourself. You don’t really need time or funds, the packages are nothing more than yeast dough, which we can easily prepare today. Of course, the doughnut itself is not everything, what counts is its filling.
In this case, it is best to use traditional grandma’s jam. It would be good for most of these additives to have lain in the cellar for several years, as the flavor is then more intense. However, if you prefer other additives, then you can use pudding, which also gives the doughnut the right flavor. In fact, the choice of filling is an individual matter, because everyone likes something different and it is difficult to hit someone’s taste. So the best we can hope for is that we can do everything ourselves, if everything goes as expected then our doughnuts, will be almost perfect. Of course, we prepare them most often during the carnival, for the preparation we need, among other things: flour, yeast, 8 egg yolks, about 3/4 cup of sugar, butter, 80 g of yeast, jam or other additives, milk, and powdered sugar to sprinkle the whole, oil and salt. Once we have everything close together, then we should simply prepare everything and combine it together. When we mix the necessary ingredients, then the whole thing should be mixed thoroughly. Once we have done this, then we should cover the whole thing, and wait for everything to rise.
If the yeast is already prepared, then we whisk all the egg yolks, and butter, and combine the whole thing. We can safely say that the dough is already prepared. Now all we need to do is form the doughnuts, and apply the filling properly. When they are ready we need to set them aside for some time to rise. Then we heat the oil to the right temperature, and fry them on both sides.
In this way, when they are already fried, we put them out of the oven, on towels in this way soaks up all the fat that was in them, after waiting about an hour, we can sprinkle them with powdered sugar, or chocolate, or other toppings, here we have the opportunity to choose ourselves, the quality of our topping. After finishing the work, we can already taste our product, certainly the taste will be appropriate.
