Very often in such a situation, someone may take credit in our name, so if we do not report the fact that we no longer have the document, then we may pay the highest price for everything. The same procedure is repeated when the document is destroyed, and its possible theft, which is also possible. This is how we should act today according to the current law. If we are abroad at the moment, for example, working outside the country, then the matter of loss of the document, we report to the first Polish consulate, only after this fact is recorded.
