Photovoltaics – is undoubtedly the future of the European energy industry. This is evidenced by the European Union’s plans – to turn our continent into a green, ecological island by 2050 amidst the immeasurable and overwhelming pollution caused by other continents.
And in other words – we are now dealing with top-down, regulated legal regulations, which are valorously making it easier for both Polish entrepreneurs and ordinary taxpayers – to switch in their own, in-house, from electricity obtained by a power plant – to that obtained from the sun’s rays.
It was the overwhelming, pervasive environmental crisis that forged the solution that is photovoltaics, and more broadly RES (or Renewable Energy Sources). This is because, in an era of increasing pollution – began to develop technologies for obtaining energy that would not, however, pollute nature. Such an initiative is needed, because – as we mentioned above – our planet is currently facing the biggest environmental crisis in history.

The aforementioned pollution is manifold: the air is poisoned by ubiquitous sulfur compounds, as well as smog, which is produced not only in large cities anymore. People are exposed to it practically everywhere. Even worse polluters are toxic factory creations. Soils are being devastated by chemical contamination. Intensive economy is sterilizing the soil. Poland’s fields and meadows are devastated by ubiquitous illegal landfills. If we want to leave the world in good shape, we should support the introduction of all environmental initiatives, including photovoltaic solutions.
As we mentioned in the introduction, the European Union actively supports the introduction of “green” solutions for the economy, including RES and photovoltaics. This support is most fully manifested precisely through top-down legal regulations. As a result of the above, there is a broad program of financial support in Poland for those wishing to introduce photovoltaic panels at home. It is required to meet a number of criteria, such as the inclusion of support for installations with 2-10 kW of installed capacity, but the effect is worth it – and it is up to 50% of the cost of the installation – so there is something to apply for.

The purpose of such a solution is to try to convince the public to install photovoltaic panels at home. This will be easier to do if the large benefits of investing in green energy are guaranteed.
To cut to the heart of the matter: thanks to tax credits, the average household can pay off such an installation within 5 years. After that, in turn, it will enjoy much cheaper green electricity.
