How not to become a bad boss. Every budding entrepreneur when he starts with his business has big ambitions and plans for the future. With the experience of working as a salaried employee in mind, the entrepreneur also promises himself that he will be a good and fair boss, unlike the people he had the opportunity to work for. Meanwhile, being a good boss is not at all easy.
Human resources management is one of the most difficult departments in managing a company. However, it is worth guarding against some basic mistakes that managers make.
As the company exists and grows, every boss comes to the conclusion that it really all comes down to constant cost-cutting. So he looks for new better suppliers and negotiates longer payment terms.

However, most bosses make the mistake of trying to save money on employees first and foremost. In many Polish companies, practices such as not paying all contributions on salaries that are artificially low, not issuing work clothes, not paying for vacations or not allowing employees to take sick leave are the order of the day.
It also happens that employers make it difficult for employees to take continuing education courses, for fear that such an employee may leave for another company. Unfortunately, it is also a very common practice not to pay for overtime work. Bosses very often act in this way and are convinced that they save a lot of money this way. Meanwhile, few people realize that in this situation the wily loses twice. Employees who are undervalued and feel cheated do not engage in their work, often simulate, do not respect the materials entrusted to them. In plants where employees are not treated with respect, there is high turnover. The head of the company often does not realize that he loses a lot in this way. When employees change frequently you have to waste time and money training them. This also causes great disruption to the company’s organization and tangible losses in the form of customers leaving. When a company misses deadlines due to staff shortages, customers leave for the competition.
A good boss should not, therefore, always think only of himself. She must realize that everyone works for the success of the company and it is worth appreciating her employees.
