How to clean and keep your car tidy? It may seem that washing and cleaning a car is a simple matter, but there are a few things that will make our car look much better after cleaning.
Washing the car from the outside is very important. First of all, we should do it in the shade and with the windows closed. For washing we should prepare: one bucket with warm water and shampoo for the car, another bucket with clean water (unless it is possible to connect a hose), a sponge, a brush for washing the car and liquid for aluminum rims (if we have them in the car). First we wash the roof with a sponge, soaking it in water with the liquid. After washing the roof, we immediately rinse it off before the shampoo dries.
Then we move on to the next elements of the car (doors, hood, etc.) and after washing each of them we rinse with clean water. We only wipe the windows with water and shampoo from the biggest dirt, and only after washing the car do we wash them with window fluid. We wash the sills, wheels and rims with a special brush, with water and liquid to clean mud and other heavy dirt. After washing the car, we can polish the paint with a special agent to make it shiny and all minor scratches disappear. Alufels, on the other hand, we wash with a special preparation according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. A car washed this way from the outside will look very nice.
The inside of our car should also be clean. Therefore, in order to clean it well, we should first take out all unnecessary things from inside, such as fire extinguishers, documents, plates, etc. It is best to wash the upholstery, headliner and seats (if they are velour) with carpet or upholstery washing liquid, collecting foam, and then use a soft brush to apply it to the surface and clean it. For leather upholstery, it is effective to wash it simply with water and gray soap, gently cleaning with a soft brush or sponge. You can also purchase a special cleaner for this purpose. The cockpit and all plastic parts, on the other hand, are cleaned simply with a special cockpit cleaner, using a soft cloth. It is best to shake out the rugs and then wash them, and the car floor itself should first be vacuumed to get rid of all the dirt, and then washed with carpet washing liquid as well. When cleaning, we should also remember to empty the ashtrays.
